CNN is looking for a Sr Staff Product Designer for a new team focused on lifestyle content engagement. The Content Engagement team will be helping to define how lifestyle content shows up within CNN digital products, ensuring it is discoverable, engaging, and continually evolving to maximize user retention. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack, data-driven, innovative and strategic Product Designer, with extensive experience designing and delivering cross-platform user experiences.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• You will be an integral part of CNN's Content Engagement team, creating cross-platform lifestyle content user experiences that engage and delight users.
• You will partner closely with product and editorial on design strategy that increases user retention and frequency.
• You will be embedded in a strategic, research-driven cross-functional team that will conduct rapid prototyping to iteratively test and validate new content formats and engagement mechanisms.
• You will guide the overall design vision, using user research, analytics, and audience insights to iterate on content delivery and personalization features.
• You will partner closely with design and product across CNN Engagement teams to integrate new content features across CNN digital surfaces.
• You must be innovative, committed to pushing the boundaries of CNN.
• You must be a highly collaborative self-starter and able to manage your projects and deadlines, whilst also being able to pivot as needed.
Qualifications & Experience…
• 12+ years' related work experience as a cross-platform product designer. Experience in media companies is a plus.
• Mastery of Figma and prototyping, including video prototyping.
• Impeccable visual and interaction design skills.
• Expertise in creating and modifying Figma components and utilizing a mature design system.
• Mastery of UX best practices, including usability principles, user research methodologies and testing techniques.
• Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $156,800.00 - $291,200.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
