Sr Product Manager, Audience Conversion

As a Senior Product Manager, Audience Conversion, you will be part of a growing
team at CNN and own the experiences that convert anonymous users to known,
loyal audiences. Working closely with your partners in engineering, design,
analytics, and product, you will work towards a unified vision to define and
optimize user registration and newsletter subscription journeys across multiple
touchpoints.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in evaluating and building conversion
initiatives at a large-scale enterprise. You are user oriented, execution focused,
and experiment obsessed, but you also understand how to tie the work back to a
larger strategy. You can define holistic strategies for each touchpoint and step in
the conversion funnel and balance long-term gains with short-term opportunities.

The Daily
• Own the strategy and roadmap for on-site touchpoints driving registration
• and signups across landing pages, in-line modules and navigation
• elements
• Partner with key stakeholders to define the product vision in the context
• of user needs, value propositions, and market opportunities
• Translate strategic business needs and user insights into clear and
• actionable product requirements, advocating for prioritization and
• scalable, customizable solutions
• Drive feature experimentation to optimize conversion across all
• touchpoints, ensuring accurate data tracking, compliance and design/UX
• consistency
• Establish goals, anticipate risks, track progress, and effectively influence
• and communicate cross-functionally with all levels
• Define and report on key performance indicators and use data to make
• sound product and business decisions

The Essentials
• 5+ years of digital product management/development experience
• Experience working in a consumer-facing digital media, marketing, e-
• commerce or subscriptions business
• Demonstrated experience in optimizing user journeys to reduce friction
• and improve conversion rates
• Experience with the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and product
• discovery to launch and product optimizations post-launch
• Ability to influence, collaborate and work successfully in a highly matrixed
• organization.
• Highly analytical with experience using product analytics data and A/B
• testing insights to inform decisions
• Understanding of product design principles, UX design
• Strong work ethic with high level of integrity and empathy
