The Job

WarnerMedia seeks a Promotion Scheduler, CNN Creative Production for the Creative Production department.

The purpose of this position is to strategically schedule on-air promotion for either of the CNN Domestic News networks.

The Daily
• Responsible for the strategic placement of promo messages on one of the two CNN Domestic News Networks (CNN & HLN)
• Ensures all Ad Sales and sponsorships are scheduled per commitment
• All work is performed in a fast-paced, often rapidly changing news environment.
• Responsible for performing daily log reconciliation
• Responsible for submitting accurate daily 24-hour promo back-up lists and daily Quality Control Deletion Lists to our Master Control platform.
• In addition, has a working knowledge of the Scheduling (Crossroad), Content Creation (SHOPS) and Library (Mediahub) software systems and able to performs various tasks within each.
• Responsible for formatting daily promo content grids for producer/editors as needed in order to generate CIDs (Content Identifiers)

• Previous scheduling or marketing experience at a television network
• Sales Operations experience
• Able to work quickly and adapt to change easily
• Very detail-oriented
