Your New Role…

Warner Bros. Discovery's Global Subscriber Acquisition and Media group is responsible for media strategy around global subscriber acquisition, retention, and US linear viewing to top-rated networks like HGTV, CNN and TBS.

The Global Media Optimization Strategy Manager will drive growth across each of GSA's business units, by leveraging WBD's proprietary Media Mix Model and conducting scenario planning and forecasting analyses. The candidate will formulate recommendations that optimize Warner Bros. Discovery's full funnel media arsenal and maximize streaming subscription KPIs and linear/digital viewership. This is a cross-functional role requiring the candidate to foster relationships with strategy teams across domestic and international regions in order to gather inputs and develop plans. They should have solid experience with media datasets, multitasking and forecasting.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Work across owned, paid upper funnel and paid performance media budgets to inform the optimal global media mix across all tactics for maximum streaming and tune-in outcomes
• Apply scenario planning based approach to various business challenges across all global media tactics, such as inventory shifts, budget changes and specific CPA and revenue goals
• Independently determine data requirements for scenario planning and gather all data inputs as needed from teams across the global organization
• Assist in goal-setting and forecasting against various KPIs and maintain tracking and accountability
• Develop, package and present insights around interaction effects and trade-offs between various media tactics and regions.
• Partner with global strategy teams to represent regional teams' needs across the globe and develop innovative cross-platform tests that further drive growth.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Decisioning and Analytics departments to validate any model or data integrity issues, and request enhancements to the toolset.

Qualifications & Experience…
• Bachelor's degree required, masters preferred, ideally in a quantitative field
• 4+ years of Forecasting, Financial Planning, and Modeling. Media Industry preferred.
• Experience in media planning across digital and linear tactics, and familiarity with media conversion and performance data sets required
• Experience with big data and data visualization in Google Suite/Tableau/Looker
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with international partners required
• Must be able to explain data requirements to diverse teams, and comfortable following up with various stakeholders until all data needs for scenario planning are fulfilled
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to explain complex models, trends & data to stakeholders
• Proven ability to interface with and build relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Excellent analytical & critical thinking skills
• Advanced technical skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and G suite (sheets, slides)

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
