Graphic Artist (Temporary)

Your New Role...

CNNi/CNN Design requires additional resources to meet the volume of animation and design requests. The Graphics Artist position will design and produce feature show branding & graphic content, communicate with producers & support daily graphics requests. While monitoring emails, iNews & Teams chats and working on projects and requested elements as assigned by Graphics Supervisors. Design and execute the graphic orders usually under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and visual clarity.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Graphic Artist will effectively evaluate and manage time, resources and deadlines to produce desired products both individually and as part of a team.
• Collaborate with producers to create with graphics that most effectively convey the intended message to create quality graphics. Keep up to date on show looks and work with the edit teams
• Will work with Graphics Supervisors, co-workers and show production staff to determine needs and facilitate execution of projects.
• Will acquire and utilize knowledge of equipment operation, production techniques and engineering requirements.
• Assist producers with viz templates available to them so they can create graphics efficiently.
• Obtain rights and clearances for images being used in graphics.
• Research news stories to have a better understanding of current events.
• Maintain design servers and Object store.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Requires creativity, organization, maturity and ability to meet specific deadlines under stressful production conditions.
• Must have ability to work with and take direction from others.
• Must have ability to work varied hours as required to produce finished products.
• Knowledge of world news and current events.
• Expert knowledge of related graphic design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc). Microsoft Suite
