CNN is looking for an Advertising Analyst who will play a critical role in monitoring the overall health of our digital advertising business. This role will analyze ad performance, assess revenue drivers, and provide actionable insights to ensure we meet and exceed our monetization targets. The Analyst will work closely with leadership, sales, ad operations, and product teams to deliver data-driven recommendations that improve performance across our digital properties.
Your Role Accountabilities …
• Data analysis: Learn the ads data flow that maps to the systems and process flow to identify opportunities to introduce novel ad formats and footprints aligned with overall digital strategy objectives of engagement and subscription growth.
• Reporting and Visualization: Employ best practices to build intuitive self-serve reporting tools for various product leads and other stakeholders.
• Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with business partners across growth, finance, engineering, product and sales to identify and measure opportunities for revenue growth, incorporating trade-offs.
• Communication of results: Summarize your findings to influence senior collaborators at CNN, communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Quality Assurance: Work with Data Engineering counterparts to monitor data pipeline health and dashboard performance.
Qualifications & Experience…
• 1-2 years of work experience in an analytical role.
• Experience and working knowledge of SQL and an interest in growing that skillset.
• Experience with data viz tools like Tableau, Domo, Looker, Power BI or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver complex messages to diverse audiences.
• Solid time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects
Preferred…
• Hard examples of telling a compelling business story with data.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, quantitative discipline preferred.
• Experience working in digital media advertising and working knowledge of key revenue health indicators.
• Experience working with cross functional teams in support of agile product development.
• Familiarity with / interest in DBT.
• Familiarity with / interest in experimentation and Python / R.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $66,560.00 - $123,611.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
