Job Description
Specialist, Marketing – OPCD - CNBC Business Day (News)

Responsibilities:
• Support the One Platform Development – CNBC Business Day team and execute marketing campaigns while overseeing pre and post sales processes for TV, digital and social platforms
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaign commitments and deadlines are met
• Create and design CNBC Business Day marketing materials for new/upcoming programs/products across social, digital, TV and audio opportunities (IE: one-sheets, mini decks, case studies etc.)
• Participate in brainstorms and idea generation based on advertiser RFPs
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including the greater Creative Development teams, One Platform Marketing, Editorial, Branded Content, Social, Research, Ad Operations and Pricing and Planning to activate 360 sponsorship opportunities at scale
• Assist with CNBC Business Day's TV billboard process and weekly television sponsorships
• Merchandise wins and successes via recap decks and eblasts
• Collaborate and keep team informed of competitive market, industry insights, ad sales marketplace trends and potential growth areas
• Support team with sales and marketing tracking systems/documents, sales materials management and budget reconciliation when needed

Qualifications
• 3 years' experience at a media company, agency or ad sales organization preferred
• Ability to create Sales/Marketing materials to internal and external partners
• Experience with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint/Word/Outlook/Excel/Teams) and Sharepoint
• Strong interest in business and financial news topics, the news media landscape and other NBCU brands is a plus!

• Excellent interpersonal skills and writing skills for internal and external client communication
• Understanding of presentation development including format, design and compelling storytelling
• Experience working with ad-sales or brand advertising and marketing
• Familiarity with the development and execution of sponsorships and promotions
• Knowledge of media marketing, the ad-sales process and media in general

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000
