About Us

At CNBC, our mission is to transform our customers' experiences with their money through our world-class financial market coverage, business insights, personal finance news and helpful, informative services. Our digital and television products reach 385 million households worldwide, and we've got even more growth opportunities ahead. We're looking for the next great product designer to join us in that adventure, and we're hoping it's you!

The Role

As a Product Designer on our CNBC team, you will ideate and grow our direct-to-consumer experiences to better serve customers through our trusted brands. You will work with a passionate, consumer-centric agile team to evolve our direct-to-consumer experiences for our users. This includes being a core contributor and co-facilitator in product discovery (research & synthesis, workshops, ideation), high-fidelity design solutions, and guiding those design solutions through the engineering process.

Success in this role is driven by the ability to collaborate with internal teams to grow the organization's UX expertise and create delightful products. Key to this is staying current on customer needs and behaviors, particularly as they apply to our CNBC Pro and Investing Club experiences. This includes gathering input from and coordinating with teams like research, editorial, growth, broadcast, advertising, and business development to ensure a focus on data- driven design solutions that have been validated with real users.

What We Value

At NBCU, product designers are the customer advocates. We use human-centered thinking and empathy to understand customers' behaviors and needs and create solutions for them. To accomplish this, we hold our collaborative relationships with our peers in high regard, preferring to overcommunicate and listen deeply. As a team, we are always seeking to improve by staying curious, acknowledging that the right way is rarely the easy way, and proactively seeking solutions. Organizationally, we ensure that product designers have clear career growth opportunities that are fostered by coaching & mentoring by design leaders.
