100% Travel – Contract

We are currently looking for the following positions on at least one, if not multiple tours!

Start date: ASAP through end of year. One tour going until Spring 2024.

Head Carpenter

We are looking for our next Head Carpenter technician to join VStar Entertainment Group’s Touring Theatrical Crew. The main objective of this role is to oversee and manage the show’s carpentry department. This position would be responsible for assembling the grid and hung scenic elements; working as a member of deck crew in scene changes and show presets in relation to the stage set and any staging pieces as determined by supervisors; maintaining cue track documentation; conducting regular maintenance of all department equipment in an effort to maintain the artistic “look” of the event from performance and operational standpoints; and reflecting professionalism of the company and its equipment while adhering to Best Practice Safety Protocols.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of previous relevant experience and the ability to train, develop and evaluate staff.

Head Electrician

We are looking for our next Head Electrician technician to join VStar Entertainment Group’s Touring Theatrical Crew. The main objective of this role is to oversee and manage the show’s electrics department. This position would be responsible for supervising power, hanging lights, and light focus; setting up, controlling, and operating the lighting console FOH; conducting regular maintenance of all department equipment in an effort to maintain the artistic “look” of the event from performance and operational standpoints; and reflecting professionalism of the company and its equipment while adhering to Best Practice Safety Protocols.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of previous experience working with electrics in a similar environment who is familiar with various lighting programs on Obsidian, Hog4, GrandMA or ETC Eos.

Head Props

We are looking for our next Head Props technician to join VStar Entertainment Group’s Touring Theatrical Crew. The main objective of this role is to oversee and manage the show’s properties department. This position would be responsible for assembling of all scenic pieces, hand prop elements, and vinyl dance floor; working as a member of deck crew in scene changes and show presets in relation to the stage set and any staging pieces as determined by supervisors; maintaining cue track documentation; conducting regular maintenance of all department equipment in an effort to maintain the artistic “look” of the event from performance and operational standpoints; and reflecting professionalism of the company and its equipment while adhering to Best Practice Safety Protocols.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of previous experience working with props in a similar environment who is familiar with color matching and scenic painting.

Performance Rigger

We are looking for our next Performance Rigger to join VStar Entertainment Group’s Touring Theatrical Crew. The main objective of this role is to oversee and manage all rigging aspects of the show. This position would be responsible for assembling and managing all rigging and automation elements; ensuring the safe use of the rigging equipment; operating rigging equipment during performances; maintaining cue track documentation; conducting regular maintenance of all department equipment in an effort to maintain the artistic “look” of the event from performance and operational standpoints; and reflect professionalism of the company and its equipment while adhering to Best Practice Safety Protocols.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience or training in technical theater and rigging for live entertainment and is familiar with theatrical rigging systems, truss and chain motor hoist operations.
