Manager, Programming (Anime/K-Drama)

NOTE: Cineverse is currently a 100% work-from-home company. While we may return to an office environment in the future, we do not have plans to return to an office setting at this time. When we return to an office environment, the incumbent may be required to work from the office on a part or full-time basis, as needed. Managing the day-to-day implementation of strategy across multiple Multicultural Vertical brands. Effectively share brand strategies and best practices across multiple teams from the performance of the channel to the creative focus of the brand. Strong editorial expertise across Cineverse's key Multicultural genres needed to strategically plan and curate content effectively. Ensure the assigned vertical channels are operating efficiently and manage any issues that may arise by troubleshooting or flagging the appropriate team member. Internal and external tracking of content, data, competition, and overall industry trends. Strong knowledge and appreciation of Anime and K-Drama is needed for this role to manage channels such as RetroCrush & AsianCrush.

Essential Functions:
• Design, implement, and schedule across assigned channels and platforms within the Multicultural. This includes data entry.
• Collaborate with marketing to build effective programming stunts to cultivate and grow audience bases across distribution partners.
• Make data-driven decisions to continually improve performance across the assigned vertical platforms.
• Track overall content mix, refresh rates, and identify future content needs across assigned brands.
• Collaborate with research department to identify high vs. low performing content to inform current strategy and future acquisitions.
• Produce and distribute programming reports as needed – churn reports, content analysis, rights tracking, etc.
• Consult with content operations/production to maintain accurate timelines for new content ingest.
• Manage data integrity across multiple tools and databases.
• Work on special projects as required.
• Provide support in updating shelving for DTC & HTML5 Apps when applicable for various brand entities.

Essential Qualifications/Compentencies:
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Deep knowledge of Anime
• Deep knowledge of K-Drama
• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate proficiently in both written and spoken format.
• Must know how to communicate effectively and positively across multiple departments
• Strong analytical thinker with ability to balance both qualitative and quantitative criteria in decision making. Familiarity with common entertainment reporting metrics and measurement practices.
• Must be passionate about content from movies to series (both scripted and unscripted).
• Strong understanding of entertainment business at large.
• Ability to work independently as well as follow standard operating procedures across portfolio.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software tools
• Experience with Mediagenix/Wide Orbit or similar software a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in programming/content curation either in traditional linear television or OTT.
