SR. GRAPHIC DESIGNER – Chicago White Sox

The Chicago White Sox are seeking a creative Sr. Graphic Designer to add to our full-time design team. This intermediate position offers a unique opportunity to create design materials for a variety of purposes running across the entire organization. Reporting to the Manager of Design, our ideal candidate will be high-energy and creative with a strong desire to work in a collaborative setting. We're looking for a skilled designer with 4+ years of experience, who is ready and eager to contribute immediately to our fast-paced, high volume design team.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Design materials to support game-related objectives, including sales, sponsorship,
marketing and community relations.
• Develop creative assets for a wide range of organizational needs, including digital display ads, social media and webpage graphics, e-mails, publications, apparel, and environmental graphics.
• Skilled in both print and multimedia/interactive creative with range to develop templates for season-long, multiplatform use, as well as multi-page documents.
• Create high-quality designs under tight deadlines while managing multiple job requests and revisions; keep projects on deadline and within budget.
• Maintain consistent presentation of the White Sox visual brand.
• Collaborate with director and manager in providing feedback to design team members during group critiques.

Skill Requirements:
• BA or BFA in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design
• 4+ Years of Professional Design Experience
• Ability to communicate, design and multitask within a team environment.
• Design expertise to follow a project from concept to completion.
• Highly organized, collaborative, adaptable team player
• Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills.
• Skill with and knowledge of typography
• Up-to-date understanding of social media platforms and best practices
• Interest in and understanding of Chicago White Sox baseball and its history is a plus.
• Understanding of photography and photo re-touching

Technical Requirements:
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Digital illustration skills a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack)
• Experience with project management software (Lytho)
