Technician (Freelance)
DESCRIPTION:
KDKA-TV has an opening for a freelance Technician in the Engineering Department. Candidate must have 1-2 years of experience in Television Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Experience working with modern television equipment
• Basic knowledge of wiring types, connections and usage, and the way equipment interacts
• Basic knowledge of HD workflows, CODECS, hardware and servers
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
• Technical school or hands-on electrical or IT related background preferred
• Knowledge of all aspects of television, video, audio, and related
• Union member
