Producer - Fan Nation

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Use strong editorial judgement to identify and pursue stories that fit the Fan Nation brand.
• Take ownership of entire production process, from pre-production to delivery of final project.
• Participate in weekly editorial planning meetings, identify stories, delegate responsibilities, and maintain an editorial calendar.
• Coordinate logistics, personnel, and equipment for shoots & post-production; pre-interview, book, and coordinate guest appearances.
• Write copy for host dialogue, segments, social, promotions, etc.
• Collaborate, communicate, and coordinate with news, programming, production, creative services, and sales departments.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as an agency, production company, TV, or freelance content producer.
• Show Producer experience a plus.
• Will work with Creative team on other promotional/community projects when the Fan Nation is on hiatus during the summer.

Requirements
• Excellent communication skills, both oral & written for broadcasting and digital platforms
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and multi-task
• Ability to shoot and edit content
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
• Proficiency in After Effects is a plus, as well as Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency with Office 365
• Love of Pittsburgh sports culture is a plus
• Additional
• Some weekend and evening hours will be required.
• Demo reel and references should be available upon request.
