Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Overview:

This position is a member of a 24x7x365 support team that maintains critical broadcast operations as a support organization to the News efforts of the facility.

Responsibilities:
• Provide Maintenance and IT services at our studio facility
• Maintains, updates and repairs systems and equipment used for broadcasting and business operations

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years Engineering background and ''hands on'' knowledge of audio, video, and IT network systems.

Additional Qualifications:
• Excellent ability to manage projects, including design, documentation, and system integration.
• Traceable expertise in broadcast related IT systems.
• Experience with remote desktop applications and VPN.
• Experience in solving electronic circuits to the component level.
• An AA/AS degree or certificate in electronics advanced Engineering Technology degree or applicable electronic study and/or experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Other Duties as the need arises.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule as needed.

This position is based in Fort Worth working together with other CBS Stations.
