Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the operation and management of Station Information Systems. Maintain local compliance with Paramount Corporate IS&T policies and procedures. Manage one IT Specialist and provide IT oversight of Engineering staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, implement, and maintain the Station's information technology and communications systems including but not limited to general office, Sales support, News production, Digital/Web, VoIP, mobile, and internal networks.
• In partnership with Strategy & Operations, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other functions, facilitate recruitment and onboarding of staff including translation of engineering needs to headcount plans, prioritization of hires with hiring managers, and reporting on hiring progress
• Provide budgetary planning support to the Director of Technology and Corporate IS&T.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years leading critical data products and or data-driven technology solutions at an enterprise level.
• Ability to work and thrive in a multifaceted fast-paced 24/7 broadcast environment.
• Proven experience working with: Microsoft Enterprise Servers; Microsoft Windows Operating Systems; Mac OS-X; Linux OS; Microsoft O365; IOS and Android mobile OS; Microsoft Active Directory; Microsoft SCCM; Windows PowerShell; VoIP Server; Avid iNews; Grass Valley STRATUS; Cisco switch management and configuration; firewalls; VPNs; domain controllers; configure and handle SAN/NAS systems; Crowd-strike; and SNMP monitoring systems.
• Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness to resolve end-user issues quickly

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Skilled with Microsoft SCCM for patching. Understanding TV Operations/Production and working knowledge of News, Operations, and Engineering is important.
• Solid written communication, systems documentation skills, and training skills.
• Valid US Driver's License.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000.00 - 110,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
