Graphic Artist

Job Description

WJZ is looking for a Graphic Artist with TV experience to join our Creative Services team. Our candidate will create graphics for news, streaming, digital/social, and commercial projects.

REQUIREMENTS
• The Graphic Artist's primary responsibility will be to generate creative and dynamic graphics for local newscasts on linear and streaming platforms.
• Works closely with the Group Design Team for template updates and alliances on major news stories and events
• IATSE union membership required.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 years of experience creating graphics for a news or similar organization
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator
• Ability to work on deadline while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communicator with an eye for visual design that aligns with brand and clarity of content.
• Work with Chyron Camio and Luci products preferred, but not required.
• Experience with AR/VR systems and software preferred but not required.
