Job Description
Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and experienced VP-level resource to join the Paramount Global Residuals team. This position is a key leader in our residuals department and will interact with various departments such as Labor, Production Finance, and Business Affairs to enable us to meet our residuals obligations across all of our segments, including TV media, filmed entertainment, and direct to consumer.

Responsibilities include:
• Oversight of general day-to-day operations of the Residuals teams
• Approve plans, forecasts, and payments as required
• Monitor status and productivity of internal teams
• Monitor external partner performance to ensure timely setups, processing, and payments
• Serve as subject matter expert for both internal queries and external-facing discussions
• Communicate with production staff as needed for document requirement delivery and clarification
• Coordinate team members to provide internal, external, SOX, and guild audit support as needed
• Work directly and guide internal teams to work with auditors and guild reps on claims and audit reports, escalating to SVP as needed
• Create tools and processes, improve existing methodologies for departmental efficiencies
• Ensure team members are trained and coached as needed to ensure optimal team performance and help align the staff with strategic goals of the company
• Oversee testing and implementation of various system enhancements and as part of larger ERP and Residuals system projects

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree Required, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred
• 15+ years of combined related industry and residuals experience required
• Ability to interpret and apply talent contracts and/or collective bargaining agreements required

Additional Qualification
• Demonstrable experience with collaborative team culture required
• Multi-team management experience preferred
• Self-starter, proactive, and analytical with strong interpersonal skills
• Possess critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to multitask and ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $176,000.00 - 235,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
