Job Description
The Senior Manager, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis is a hands-on position, reporting directly to the VP of Financial Reporting and Analysis, who will assist in leading an operational accounting team responsible for monthly/quarterly accounting and reporting for multiple entities. You will lead and mentor a team of quality accountants responsible for the monthly/quarterly closes. You will also interact with cross-functional teams in Finance to help ensure accurate entity reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and support for the overall accounting operations, including accounting close process, and accurate preparation of financial accounting results and management reporting, which includes review of journal entries and monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances
• Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls
• Assist in preparing the quarterly performance results package for Corporate Division, including balance sheet and P&L variance analyses
• Proactively interact with corporate management to resolve quarterly questions
• Support and work closely with internal and external auditors handling audit inquiries, including facilitating and organizing the necessary deliverables
• Drive and participate in implementing/improving processes and controls to grow the accounting function
• Participate in the evolution and implementation of a new ERP system, allowing for strong reporting and internal controls
• Lead and assist with other ad hoc accounting and finance projects

Basic Qualifications
• 6+ years of dynamic Accounting/Finance experience, including manager-level experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
• CPA is a plus
• Media Entertainment / Studio experience highly preferred
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and lead multiple responsibilities under tight time frames
• Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, strong attention to details, and ability to prioritize
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have a positive outlook, be flexible and be willing to learn new things and train others as needed
