Business Operations Office Manager, CBS Sports Digital (Freelance)
Overview & Responsibilities:

This is a full-time position, with regular office hours. Some flexible scheduling and after-hours work may be necessary. The position may require standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and may include occasional lifting of heavy objects or equipment. The below job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change as the needs of the organization evolve.

The Business Operations Office Manager will be responsible for managing the administrative and business operational functions of the CBS Sports Digital, Stamford office location. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure effective coordination and implementation of office operations!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including administrative, operational, and facility management functions.
• Maintain office policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Liaison with Encompass Digital Media ensuring proper guidelines are in place, ensuring safety protocols are communicated and implemented; as well as any requests for equipment and air conditioning support and maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all office operations.
• Maintain clear operational guidelines to ensure consistency of business operations as other CBS Sports Digital office locations.
• Collaborate and work with stakeholders, team leaders, and managers to ensure the office conforms to general business operations processes.
• Ensure proper company protocols for guests/visitors accessing the building. Coordinate with security manager to ensure proper security badge building access process and manage a small temporary badge inventory.
• Liaise with external service providers, including vendors, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure that their services meet the office's needs and requirements.
• Meet and greet guests/visitors in first floor lobby as needed.
• Monitor/manage/maintain kitchen inventory, office suppies inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring the timely replenishment and maintenance of items as necessary, e.g., printers and kitchen supplies and appliances.
• Weekly purchasing and coordination of snacks, sodas, water for all teams, including fruit deliveries.
• Organize and maintain all common areas of the office daily (breakrooms, kitchen, printer area, closets, cabinets).
• Coordinate office catering events, meetings, travel arrangements, including scheduling, logistics, and expense management.
• Receive and distribute incoming packages, coordinate outgoing packages (FEDEX/ UPS/ All couriers, manage/sort/distribute US postal and interoffice mail, and deliveries.
• Coordinate with hiring managers on their new hires to properly on-board with computer equip, security badge access, parking needs, and seating, as needed.
• Support the Director in any and all administrative and business operational tasks as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred equivalent.
• Experience in an administrative assistant and receptionist role.
• 3+ years of experience in office management, operations, or related field.
• Proficiency in computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, Adobe, and other office-related software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively to all employees.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; Ability to multitask.
• Accountability and reliability a must.
• Ability to interact confidently with all levels of organization; Ability to work across different levels of the organization.
• Excellent time and project management skills; Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, as well as be a part of a team.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong reasonable problem-solving skills required.
• Must have the ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
