ABOUT US:

ViacomCBS Streaming (formerly CBS Interactive) is a division of ViacomCBS that encompasses both free, paid, and premium streaming services including Pluto TV, CBS All Access, CBS Sports Digital, and CBS News Digital.

Role Details:
• Lead by example as a product-minded full-stack senior engineer.
• Shape and guide technology strategy for technology teams
• Establish and share new patterns, technologies, and ways or working with department
• Coach, mentor, and guide other engineers on best practices such as clean coding techniques, event driven architecture, immutable infrastructure, etc.
• Building real-time sports experiences on the desktop and mobile
• Building a new event driven, distributed, micro service architecture

Your Day-to-Day:
• Participate in collaboration session, technical design
• Participate in feature implementation
• Participate in retrospectives, daily standup

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team;

You have -
• 10+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer building high-scale customer facing products
• Enthusiasm for problem solving, learning and collaborating with others
• Experience with one or more programming languages java, kotlin, c#, python, javascript
• Experience with building complex web systems
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure or Google cloud etc
• Experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML

You might also have -
• Familiarity with iOS or Android app development
• Familiarity with reactjs, typescript, ember, nodejs, kafka
