Job Description

WHP-TV/CBS21, Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Creative Services Producer to produce commercial and sponsored on-air, print and digital projects of the CBS, CW and My Network stations. Qualified candidates must be able to produce to create, conceptualize, script, and edit cutting edge commercials for station clients. The ability to work well with internal and external clients is vital.

Although every day will not look the same here are some of the main day to day responsibilities of our Creative Services Producer.
• Work with Commercial Production manager to schedule and execute projects on time and with client approval
• Create advertising concepts and execute through producing, scriptwriting, shooting, and editing
• Responsible for each phase of production from conception, scripting, pre-production, and post-production
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to meet deadlines and monitor equipment maintenance and usage
• Other responsibilities as assigned including onsite support of events/promotions

What skills do you need to be successful in our role?
• Non-linear editing experience
• Strong videography skills and knowledge of digital cameras preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe products (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Experience scripting long form and short form projects
• Ability to write and edit commercials that tell a compelling story
• A strong understanding of fundamental design, sense of color, typography and composition
• Advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
• Understanding of digital marketing and its value to clients
• Ability to maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong client service skills
• Ability to maintain digital assets, archives and edit systems
• Strong time management in fast-paced environment
• Self-starter and self-learner
• Ability to routinely lift, carry and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
