WGME CBS13 / WPFO FOX 23, in Portland, Maine, is a trusted brand providing Maine viewers with local news, weather, sports, entertainment, and social media content. We are currently seeking two full-time hands-on Operations Technicians that will serve in any of the broadcast operations positions as assigned as part of a TV team to ensure programming airs correctly with the highest technical quality possible. This will include master controls, audio, spot server, floor directing, studio camera and lighting and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidates must be versatile and capable of learning specialized software applications and have an aptitude for operating electronic equipment. You must have great attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Live TV Studio and set preparation
• Lighting
• Operating robotic cameras
• Audio console and technical directing
• Follow checklists relating to live events as instructed
• Meet daily deadlines in a high energy paced working environment
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:
• Be extremely dependable
• Computer/software proficient. Windows knowledge a PLUS
• Have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and communicate within a fast-paced environment
• Function effectively under pressure and deadlines.
• Must have valid driver's license with clean record
• This position reports to Engineer Director
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays
