Universal Music Group is looking for a Manager, Video Production, to be a part of Capitol Music Group. Reporting to SVP Video Production, the position will be responsible for generating and commissioning video content. You will work directly with artists, and other creative partners to help bring to life and execute visuals on the highest level across genres at CMG.
How you'll CREATE:
• Commission official music videos, lyric videos, and visualizers
• Manage creative visual productions from concept to completion
• Collaborate with A&R, Marketing and Commercial teams to form content strategy for individual artists and genres
• Work with internal departments to communicate schedules, assets and delivery of all content produced
Bring your VIBE:
• 3-5 years of experience in Content Creation / Video Commissioning
• Strong knowledge of music video production from conception through delivery
• Working knowledge and experience on set in video production a massive plus
• Possess excellent knowledge of video budgets, both above and below the line regarding both artists and production costs.
• Knowledge of YouTube, Apple and other broadcast partners' best practices and trends
• Process oriented with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand operations, delivery processes, supply chain, and technology issues
• Excellent time management skills and follow through skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance multiple priorities
• Fluid contributions to multiple projects within a rapidly evolving environment
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc...)
• Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook)
• Prior experience working with project management software (Monday, Airtable, etc...) is a plus
• Prior experience in content creation and commissioning at a music company, media company or digital partner
• Knowledge of social media and current platforms of entertainment consumption and marketing
• Strong interest in music and pop culture, with extensive knowledge of current and catalog music titles and artists
• Strong interest in content creation trends and future platforms
