Bleacher Report is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager, Product Marketing – Bleacher Report, to join their marketing organization. While opinions can differ from sport to sport, and team to team, we all enjoy coming together to discuss what drives our fandom. From discussing our favorite players, to our fantasy lineups, breaking news, or the latest trades, B/R Communities give our Fans a place, and an excuse, to talk about the latest and greatest across the sports landscape. The Senior Manager for Communities must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They are a holistic thinker, focused on not only driving acquisition and engagement of the Communities experience, but also connecting Communities across the B/R digital ecosystem. They must be comfortable working cross-functionally across a large
organization – and balancing the needs of many internal partners and stakeholders. They should be a strong strategic partner to the Product organization, and advocate the best experience for
our Fans.
The Daily
• Co-develop Communities strategy and roadmap prioritizations with product development
• Own marketing requirements across Communities experience
• Develop Communities value prop and positioning and collaborate with B/R Brand on linear and digital creative
• Strategize, execute and manage acquisition and retention strategies across paid and owned channels
• Work across product marketing partners to leverage other App initiatives to drive Communities growth, and vice versa
• Support content teams on driving Communities engagement across major tentpole events
• Partner with business operations and data teams to identify KPIs and success metrics for Communities experience
• Implement ''Voice of the Fan'' paradigms to inform future product, content and marketing strategies for Communities.
• This role may require the employee to regularly appear on-camera or have their voice used on video as needed (as mutually agreed upon)
The Essentials
• 7+ years of product or lifecycle marketing experience
• Direct-to-consumer marketing or product management experience preferred
• Previous social media experience a plus
• Comfort working in large, matrixed organizations and geographically disbursed teams
• Located in San Francisco, CA
