The Job
The Associate Design Producer will play an integral role in the video production process for our production and content operations teams located in NYC. This operator would support nontraditional programming from internal teams such as BR Betting, House of Highlights, BR Social and BR Studio as well as Turner Sports digital such as ELeague and video podcasts. This position will be responsible for creating graphical elements and operating graphics devices at our Live Production Control Rooms/Studio located in NYC. This is a full-time position.

The Daily
• Work with producers to provide graphic support for all video shoots.
• Plays a pivotal role in execution of graphics packages working closely with graphics designers and provides feedback and confirms Xpression compatibility.
• Produces graphical content with editorial sensibilities.
• Effectively gathers, QCs and coordinates assets needed.
• Create templates in ROSS Xpression.
• Fly created graphics in on-air situations.
• Use XML to populate cards.
• Optimize/Manage templates/creative assets.
• Execute templated work in After Effects and Photoshop.
• Pitches new design executions in Xpression.
• Pitches new content-based template solutions in Xpression.

The Essentials
• 1-3 years experience working in production and/or technical operations.
• 1-3 years experience using ROSS Xpression or similar on-air motion graphics systems.
• Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite templates.
• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision in a high-pressure environment.
• In tune with contemporary design, internet and youth culture trends.
• A knowledge and love of sports.
• Video editing skills a plus (Premiere preferred)
• Experience in newsroom software a plus (ROSS Inception preferred)
