The Job

This is a full-time position as an editor on our NFL content team. It can be worked remote or from our New York or San Francisco offices. We are looking for a creative, organized sports journalist with experience planning, assigning, editing or writing sports text content. The focus is NFL, but knowledge of and enthusiasm for all sports is mandatory. This is not a writing position.

The Daily
• Collaborate on NFL coverage with Content, Programming, Revenue, Analytics, Product and Quality Control departments.
• Plan, assign, track and distribute text content.
• Develop story ideas, assign topics to writers and review published content.
• Build and maintain relationships with writers.
• Assist in budget and accounts-payable tasks..
• Stay attuned to NFL news and debate in the B/R users community and throughout sports media.
• Work a share of nights and weekends, with on-call availability for breaking news..

The Essentials

• 2+ years experience planning, producing and/or distributing sports text content in digital media.
• Strong communication skills across messaging systems, email, docs and in meetings.
• Detail-oriented, responsive, proactive.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $55,983.00 - $103,969.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
