Director, Finance Projects

The Director of Finance Projects will be tasked to leverage their significant financial expertise and strong general business acumen, along with their detailed organizational and project management skills to drive the successful execution of various finance related IT and business process initiatives within the Participations, Residuals, and Audits group. These projects will have a focus on finance systems implementation, audit and litigation support, preparation and execution of statements of work, budgeting, etc. The Director will partner with internal and external partners and will work with the SVP, Finance to develop strategies on these projects and communicate regular updates.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Act as the central point of contact between external service providers (audit, accounting, and other third-party firms) and Paramount departments and/or executives.
• Assist with the management of data requests, coordination, and scheduling of projects.
• Keep SVP-Finance updated on the status and timing of various projects and prepare to communicate progress through periodic reporting as deemed necessary.
• Plan and monitor progress throughout project lifecycles, working closely with various Paramount partners to ensure timely gathering of data and ensuring filing and milestone requirements are met.
• Work independently to coordinate and communicate third-party audit activities across the pertinent Paramount Global divisions, liaising with senior management throughout the company and representing the SVP-Finance and group as necessary.
• Supervise internal and external resources, who are performing project work.
• Perform various projects such as research and other analyses as needed.

Basic qualifications:
• 10+ years combined finance and project management/systems implementation experience required

Additional Qualifications
• Strong financial and general business acumen
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience with data analysis
• Public accounting, tax advisory or financial consulting background a plus
• Expert level in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel is preferred
• Managerial experience with problem-solving and analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and evidence of strong organizational skills to ensure various reporting deadlines are met.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization
• Experience with entertainment industry is preferred
• Prior experience with effective project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $110,400.00 - 165,600.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
