Job Description

Bally Sports is looking for a VP Business, Head of Content Partnerships & Acquisitions.
Overview:
• Use customer research, behavior, usage and consumption data to begin building a content roadmap that drives engagement with current and future, more digitally and socially native rights holders.
• Evaluate and acquire variety of content that may include league and team video, athlete-focused content, branded content, scripted, unscripted and more.
• Liaise with teams, leagues, production companies, agencies, athletes and more to identify and propose opportunities to grow DTC business and subscriber engagement.
• Connect the dots across broader Bally Sports organizations to unify and build pipeline of content that drives engagement across DTC channels.
• Coordinate with RSN leads on potential live, unscripted and scripted content opportunities.
• Consider web content that can better drive conversion.
• Work cross functionally and collaboratively across all teams to exceed goals

Qualifications:
• 10+ years overall experience, minimum of 7 years working in a content business, or partnerships function.
• Experience working in digital video and/or sports media with a robust list of industry contacts.
• Experience in using data and analytics for decision making.
• Knowledge of sports and digital media rights and content distribution nuances.
• Adept at liaising with multiple stakeholders and thrive in matrix environments.
• Point of view on the future of sports and platforms/distribution models that are desirable to sports fans.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $230,000 to $280,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
