The Position:
We are currently seeking to fill the Treasury position with a passionate individual who is a change-agent and will bring their own expertise and understanding of process, improvement, and efficiency to help Diamond Sports Group to operate on its own. Reporting to the CAO, this position will be responsible for the planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end Treasury activities including managing the Company's cash flow forecast, identifying cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities and ensuring compliance with company, department and audit standards to maximize the protection of the Company's cash assets. Partners with the CFO, and accounting and finance departments to create the vision, strategy, and standards by which the Treasury department provides leadership and value to the organization.

The Game Plan:
(What you'll do)
• Identify opportunities and implement treasury-related business process improvements including multi-lateral netting and cash pool structures via in-house banking.
• Review, approve and release electronic disbursements.
• Develop and maintain cash forecasting reports.
• Develop and support treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support special projects as assigned.
• Lead the treasury month-end close process including the review and accurate recording of weekly cash activity to the general ledger.
• Supervise maintenance and update signatories on every global bank account.
• Manage and oversee the AR facility.
• Review and approval of ACH and wire payments.
• Daily (or rhythmic) cash positioning and reporting.
• Track cash investment activities and calculate any relevant covenant ratios.
• Troubleshoot daily transaction issues.
• Ensure proper controls exist over cash receipts, disbursements and general treasury activities.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for and support global cash movements including documentation of intercompany loans.
• Maintain strong bank relationships while managing global banking structure.
• Leverage existing banking relationships to open, manage and maintain domestic and foreign bank accounts.
• Monitor and oversee existing bank account services and signatories including bank account administration for opening, migrating and closing accounts.
• Evaluate and recommend banking products, services and platforms as appropriate.
• Serve as primary administrator on online banking platforms and other treasury platforms.
• Effectively work with and support internal business partners including AR, AP, legal, tax and IT
• Work with external auditors.
• Manage corporate card, ACH debits and credit card.

The Stats:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or CPA credential or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong communicator with the ability to artfully influence, persuade and drive action.
• A collaborative management style and a strong customer service orientation.
• Proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally with senior leaders in the organization.
• Wide range of experience in the areas of finance, supply chain and program management.
• Strong analytical, financial and systems skills, including advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
• Strong experience with bank reconciliations.
• Self-motivation and attention to detail.

A Plus:
• Master's degree in accounting or business administration
• CPA
• Knowledge of banking systems and experience with wire and ACH templates

The base salary compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000.00. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
