The Position:
Bally Sports Southwest Team is currently seeking a Manager, Operations to join the Irving, TX production team to oversee all remote production operations for our MLB, NBA, and NHL teams, as well as high school football events throughout the fall season. Reporting to the Director, Operations, this position will oversee the Operations Coordinators, communicate, and coordinate with the Studio Operations Manager, requesting production trucks and communicating changes with truck vendors, checking in with production teams throughout the season to ensure all needs are being met.

The Game Plan:
(What you'll do)
• Manage operations coordinators to ensure all tech books and transmission has been distributed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Studio Production Manager.
• Order production trucks and communicate changes throughout the year to truck vendors.
• Coordinate shipping for defective equipment between vendors and site.
• Communicate with production teams throughout their respective seasons to ensure all their needs are being met.
• Organize the equipment, manage shipping schedule, and communicate shipment needs to coordinators.
• Lead specialty events, such as Texas Football Days, High School Football Playoffs and Championships.
• Assist the Director, Operations with special projects.

The Stats:

• 5+ years of experience working in live broadcast setting.
• 3+ years of experience leading a successful team and managing projects.
• Self-discipline to work independently and effectively in an unstructured environment while being flexible with business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills, deadline-focused, and goal-driven.
• Familiarity with remote production facilities.
• An understanding of crew positions and requirements.
• High-quality standards of excellence.
• Passionate, confident, and professional.
