Job Description
Bally Sports is looking for an Engineering Manager - Platform/Full Stack. Bally Sports' mission is to build a transformative, participatory sports platform, anchored by the most exclusive and relevant live professional games, that provides fans a year-round opportunity to engage with content and communities they are most passionate about. We are looking for an engineering manager to lead both backend development and application integrations for our flagship product. You will report directly to the Head of Engineering.

Responsibilities:
• Manage distributed team of full stack software engineers
• Expand the team by recruiting and onboarding high performing software engineers, as well as manage resource augmentation with third parties as necessary
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with product managers, UX/UI, DevOps, Web and front-end application developers to design and develop best in product experiences
• Help set team goals and technical direction while ensuring that they align with the goals of the larger organization
• Get your hands dirty in the code as needed

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
• 5+ years of development experience with 4+ years of NodeJS
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Web stacks, libraries and frameworks
• Strong understanding of system architecture and design using microservice-based frameworks
• Experience with Kubernetes, and related container systems and cloud-based architecture
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others
• Passion for sports

The base salary compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $190,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
