The Position:
We are seeking a Director, Purchasing and Accounts Payable/Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) Leader to join the Finance/Accounting Team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Shared Services, this position will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's P2P and Travel & Entertainment (''T&E'') processes. This includes overseeing the purchasing, accounts payable, and travel and expense functions. The P2P Leader will also be responsible for developing and implementing P2P policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with these policies, and managing relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of P2P processes, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive process improvements. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the Company's T&E card and Purchasing card (''P-card'') programs as well as be an administrator for the Company's T&E reporting tool, Concur.

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)
• Assesses the current P2P model to create a strategy and vision around the development and documentation of future state process flows, to identify needed organizational and workflow changes.
• Manage and optimize the company's P2P processes by overseeing the purchasing, accounts payable functions.
• Manage T&E function in Concur to ensure that employees are maintaining the guidelines and provide reporting (dashboard) to the senior leadership.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders and drive process improvements in the function.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure internal compliance.
• Manage the team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports related to accounts payable, supporting the broader financial reporting requirements of the organization.
• Leads and manages all P2P function and performance by developing people and processes focused operational discipline and enhancing the customer experience.
• Builds, develops, and improves P2P functions to support strategic direction.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to enforce T&E spend policies and conduct regular audits of certain key business expenses (i.e. meals, flight classification).
• Collaborate with the broader finance team to facilitate a smooth month-end close process, reconciling accounts and addressing any discrepancies.

The Stats:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in P2P with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record in implementing process improvements and optimizing P2P processes within global organizations with effective change management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P processes, including procurement, vendor management, accounts payable, and travel and expense management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills and ability to drive process improvements.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence, persuade and drive action.
• Collaborative management style and strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with senior leaders in the organization.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $140,000 – 160,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
