Job Description

Bally Sports is seeking a Coordinator, Music Clearance & Licensing to join the team! Bally Sports is the nation's leading provider of local sports and owns & operates 21 regional sports networks across the country. This is a hybrid opportunity located in Santa Monica, CA.

THE JOB:

Business Affairs
• Support Manager, Business Affairs.
• Assist in processing of music licenses.
• Draft and issue music licenses as requested by licensors.
• Review and coordinate execution of music licenses issued by licensors.
• Follow up on payments in and out.
• Coordinate vendor setup and payment processing.
• Process Cue Sheets, when time permits.
• Reair research and mark up of cue sheets.
• Other projects as assigned.

Music Clearance
• Clear music for use in programming and/or promotions across Bally Sports RSNs/Sinclair Broadcast Group networks.
• Research Publishing, Master Recording, PRO ownership of music.
• Track music clearance and provide updates.
• Confirm/request licenses for music uses.

Who You Are:
• Experienced in clearance and licensing preferred.
• Experience in Qwire, Source Audio and other music platforms preferred.
• Someone who is extremely organized and attention to detail.
• Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day hybrid position, office located in Santa Monica.
• This is not a creative position.
• Someone who does well under pressure.
• Someone who is capable of multi-tasking.
• Someone who is a problem solver and comes up with ways to work smarter, not harder.
