Job Description
Bally Sports Midwest is currently seeking to fill the position of Broadcast Engineer / IT Support. This position will provide Engineering support for all Transmission, Studio production support, installing, maintaining all broadcast and editing equipment in our St. Louis, MO office, as well as support in Kansas City and Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities:
• Ensures all transmission equipment is calibrated and operating correctly for remote Live-event telecasts and studio productions; conducts quality control of all network feeds, camera shading, corrects and documents technical problems.
• Engineering support for all live and prerecorded Studio productions and support field Engineering tasks at our sports venues in St. Louis, Kansas City and Indianapolis, IN.
• Troubleshoots equipment where problems occur and performs regular maintenance tasks including repairs and replacement of equipment assigned by management and Engineering staff.
• Consults with Bally Sports Engineering staff regarding corrective actions unable to resolve alone.
• Interacts and communicates effectively with Engineering and Production staff to understand and fulfill their requests during their shift.
• Other duties/projects assigned by managers.

Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years' experience working in broadcast engineering and studio operations environment.
• Must be knowledgeable in all areas of technical TV production and familiar with all studio production equipment.
• Strong knowledge of AVID Media Composer and Interplay, EVS (XT-VIA and X-File), Evertz Routers and Multiviewer, Grass Valley K-Frame switchers and SSL Audio Consoles.
• Must have a strong knowledge of IP network related broadcast equipment.
• Experience with Grass Valley and Ikegami Studio Cameras and Panasonic ENG Cameras.
• Computer operating systems knowledge is a must, networking skills a plus.
• Knowledgeable with the maintaining of Avid systems with LTO archiving and able to troubleshoot computer based broadcast equipment.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills are essential as well as technical troubleshooting skills.
• Must have strong communication skills and be a team player.
• Occasionally required to bend and lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders of needed.
• Hours/schedule and weekend and holiday shifts will be required.
