Overview

Audacy, one of the nation's most influential audio content and entertainment platforms, is hiring a Vice President to help drive our consumer marketing function across our digital business. Reporting to our CMO and with accountability to key business line leaders, this role is focused on driving digital audience growth and listener loyalty initiatives, prioritizing app downloads and user registrations, daily and monthly user growth and total listening hours. A highly visible, influential role with a significant performance marketing mandate, the VP will be an Audacy leader, an audio champion and a pivotal player in the company's aggressive growth strategy.

It is preferred that this opportunity sit at our New York or Philadelphia offices.

Lead…
• Audacy's digital consumer marketing across the listener journey, from acquisition to bonded fans
• A matrixed team of cross-discipline marketers to drive key business results

Build…
• Audacy into a first-tier, digital consumer audio brand, to every demographic we reach
• Consumer campaigns that differentiate our brands, content and talent and drives results
• A scalable audience growth engine that fuels the growth of our direct-to-consumer business
• Performance strategies grounded in fast-to-market test and optimize plans using owned assets
• Exceptional creative and brand acumen into all marketing touchpoints

Analyze…
• Marketing effectiveness and report on progress with actionable insights to senior leadership
• Data sets to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our channels
• Market trends, competitors and tangential businesses to inform forward marketing strategies

Plan…
• Annual and quarterly consumer digital marketing plans, including priorities, KPIs and resources
• Processes to maximize speed and efficiency across resources, workflows and execution
• Collaboration across disciplines to deliver on-brand work that performs and grows the business

Champion…
• Individual contributors and team members to grow their marketing skills
• Serve as the voice of the digital consumer to our business lines and executive leadership

Qualifications

The Requirements
• +8 years experience leading and working in fast paced consumer marketing teams
• Proven expertise across digital performance marketing, acquisition and retention programs
• Strong background in entertainment media or consumer tech with leading brands
• Track-record of developing breakthrough, results-led marketing programs
• Creative thinker with deep digital and social strategy, management and execution prowess
• Deep knowledge of campaign management, testing and optimization strategies and media
• Comfortable navigating a matrixed and complex organization.
• A confident presenter with strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with brand and business partners.

Reporting
• Part of Marketing team, under CMO
• Accountable to CDO for business needs and campaign performance
• Report to SVP Digital Content (business) and SVP Executive Creative Director (creative)
• Manages Director and Managers of consumer marketing
• Partners with Alchemy, Product, Programming and Digital teams

Additional Information

Pay Transparency

The anticipated starting salary range for New York based individuals expressing interest in this position is $115k-$135k with bonus eligibility.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
