Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Take control of the AdTech teams from the planning perspective to build, validate and manage functional and non-functional requirements alongside Product Managers
• Work alongside Product Management to plan and prioritize backlog according to business value and feasibility, work with team on development plans, advocating for quality technical implementation, and managing technical dependencies
• Provide iterative backlog management, prioritization and planning support, contributing to the buildout of user stories and work with the team on development plans for the product
• Translate Product team's vision into functional and non-functional requirements and provide direction to Agile development teams throughout multiple concurrent software development lifecycles
• Lead the planning of releases and set the expectation for the delivery of new functionality; relentlessly address blockers impacting successful team completion of release and sprint goals
• Manage cross-functional dependencies: Work with engineering leads to do root cause analysis on bug tickets while managing the flow of work through the QA cycles; lead handoffs to QA upon completion of development. Support DevOps for all release planning activities.
• Own and manage team backlogs
• Work with the product team to build product road-maps and identifying innovation opportunities
• Leverage data-driven analysis to work with product management to define product strategy to optimize revenue and improve user experience
• Be a champion of Agile/Scrum best practices and keep abreast of new trends

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:
• 3+ years of Product Owner experience in the digital arena with a focus on Media and modern technology concepts
• A 'user-first' mentality to advocate for the best UX for our users whilst maximizing revenue
• Excellent written and oral communications skills required
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
• Advanced technical understanding of the advertising, media, and streaming ecosystems, including request/response model, VAST, HLS and other streaming technologies, digital ad insertion, programmatic ad selection, and service-client architecture
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent people skills and be a team player; ability to work successfully with both direct and indirect teams across the organization
• Ability to apply Product Owner skill-set and activities across multiple scrum teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinker with vision and sharp analytical and problem solving skills
• A Bachelor's degree is required, graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $110,000-$140,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity. This position can be located remotely or at one of Audacy's
offices in Denver, New York City, Philadelphia,
or Chicago.
