Overview

Audacy Inc. (NYSE: AUD), is one of the largest radio broadcasting company and radio network in the United States. The Philadelphia area based company is seeking to hire an individual in its finance department. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accountant Manger of the company, and will be responsible for the day to day accounting of the business.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Manage the Corporate general ledger
• Prepare monthly close journal entries
• Complete monthly reconciliations balance sheet accounts
• Work with external auditors, provide support documentations and explanations
• Compile, adjust and evaluate various accruals to ensure their accuracy
• Provide support in the areas of fixed assets, lease accounting, treasury, and general accruals
• Research and correct account discrepancies and variances
• Properly execute controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley

Software to be used:
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) – Accounts Payable & General Ledger
• Ultimate Software – Payroll
• Tagetik – Consolidation of financial reporting

Qualifications

About You:
• Solid understanding of accounting terms and concepts
• Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel is a must)
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2 or more years of accounting experience preferred
• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relations
• Self-starter and strong work ethic
• Key skills/attributes: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and accountability
