Job Description
Overview

Delivering the absolute best listener experience. To as many users as possible. In as many delightful moments as possible. That's what the Audacy Product team is all about. We look to deliver a personalized experience and audio universe inclusive of the thousands of radio stations, millions of podcasts, expansive premium on-demand and live audio content across music, sports, news and entertainment to listeners everywhere - whether on mobile, driving in the car, listening on a smart speaker, or a platform not yet core to daily living.

As such, we're looking for an experienced Product Manager to own the product services, features and tools that will power and grow our subscription business. You'll craft vision and strategy, help identify tactics and craft solutions, prioritize, measure and validate the success of your work. You'll work with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, designers, engineers, and marketers to test, ship, and iterate on new ways to acquire, activate, and retain subscribers. You'll be expected to hustle and guide a fast-paced, but highly collaborative squad that is tightly connected to the day to day success of our business. We're looking for candidates with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization, a strong aptitude for idea generation, and the ability to work with the subtleties of experience design, data-driven consumer products and data-driven iteration

Responsibilities

You're excited about this opportunity because you will
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to define and execute our customer acquisition and retention strategies and tactics
• Design and optimize marketing funnels, landing pages, sign-up flows, offers, content bundle merchandising, account management, retention flows, and payment experiences
• Evaluate and potentially integrate new testing tools and infrastructure, including the use of machine learning to automate the optimization of experiments
• Develop the strategy, vision and feature-set for the new Audacy subscription product
• Build and maintain a product roadmap that balances consumer needs with business needs
• Find opportunities to acquire, activate, and retain subscribers. This includes educating existing and prospective listeners about the value of subscription, highlighting features that a subscriber may be using, and more.
• Help to define and incorporate tools to measure and forecast churn, retention, and subscription conversion performance in partnership with the Analytics team. You'll work with leadership to monitor and discuss the health of our subscriptions business on a weekly cadence

You will be successful by
• Driving overall subscriber growth, achieving our aggressive growth goals
• Harnessing data and conducting user tests, research, and experiments to capture and understand real users' motivations, goals, and pain points
• Being entrepreneurial: looking for ways to minimize the time it takes to validate assumptions and hypotheses.
• Developing relationships with your engineering, design, marketing, and business partners to get the best out of your teammates - both in how you work together, and what you deliver to our listeners.
• Turning ambiguous inputs into concrete action plans. Zooming in, then zooming out to connect the dots.
• Keeping a growth mindset, and constantly asking how we can improve our frameworks and processes.

Qualifications

We are excited about you because
• 5+ years of product management experience in a B2C technology or media company
• 3+ years experience in designing and optimizing customer acquisition experiments, user flows, product experiences for digital subscription businesses. You've driven notable improvements to a business, but you never lose sight of the end-user experience.
• You bring a hypothesis-driven, iterative, and scrappy approach to product development. You've shipped plenty of A/B and multivariate tests, but you also know when there are quicker, faster ways to validate your hypotheses.
• You bring energy, ideas, and creativity to the team. You're a great communicator and a natural leader.
• Deep understanding of digital product best practices and agile methodology.
• A proven track record of successfully shipping subscription products that meet customer needs and drive business impact
• You have an affinity for the fast-paced, often-changing environment of a transforming company and derive energy from it.
