Job Description
The Audacy team is seeking a Social Media Manager who will report to the Sr. Director, Social Content & Strategy. The Social Media Manager is responsible for executing on all social media platforms for Audacy, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. They will pitch ideas to the Sr. Director, Social Content & Strategy, and will program, write, and execute on social platforms and work closely to monitor analytics and help grow our social audience and reach our goals. They will also be responsible for posting daily social media content for stations.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
• Create, produce, and optimize content for use across social platforms
• Help to keep the Audacy audience updated on breaking & trending news
• Help grow the brand's social media followers and referrals to our website
• Create, produce, and optimize content for use across social platforms
• Brainstorm and execute innovative new social strategies, test new platforms, and expand social monetization opportunities
• Keep abreast of trending content on a daily basis and report back to the team
• Engage and respond to followers in real time
• Create social media focused editorial content like quizzes, polls, and brackets
• Cover live events in real time, from concerts to breaking news

Qualifications:
• Editorial and writing experience in news, entertainment news and/or music
• At least 3-5 years' experience within social media
• Stellar communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Proactive, organized, and self-motivated with a team mentality
• Enthusiasm for social trends and a love of pop culture
