The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital media, user experience, content management systems and can deliver best-in-class products from inception to launch in a fast paced environment. This person has a track record of launching successful products that users love and is an advocate for our customers when meeting with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Work very closely with the product, design, and engineering team on a regular basis to launch products that deliver value to our users
• Conduct competitive analysis, opportunity assessments, user research and synthesize findings to make data-driven product decisions
• Work with senior product leadership across the organization to evolve high-level strategic vision into actionable tactics that grow our KPis and drive the platform forward
• Create and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs and product documentation such user stories, use cases and user flows
• Own weekly cadence – prioritize feature development, user stories, plan iterations, and keep your engineers unblocked
• Work closely with QA on acceptance testing and lead product launches
• Proactively identify problems that arise in a project, outlines options, recommends solutions and escalates as needed
• Own communications to stakeholders and the larger company up to date on project status
Qualifications
More About You:
Required & Preferred:
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management; experience in the digital media landscape and content management system is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skill
• Experience working in an agile environment - experience leading planning and stand-ups
• Experience using data to successfully inform your decision-making and measure your outcomes.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and 3rd party editorial analytics providers
• Excellent people skills and be a team player; ability to work successfully with both direct and indirect teams across the organization
• Understanding of design principles, usability, UX design
• Experience in conducting A/B or multivariate testing
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for music, sports or radio is a plus
• A Bachelor's degree is required, a graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus
