If so, Audacy Engineering team is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to join our growing and innovative engineering team. Leading a team of savvy software development professionals, this leader will work with our business stakeholders, other engineering teams, QA & operations teams to build, maintain, and support our user-facing client applications for a multitude of consumer-owned-and-managed devices. This role is pivotal to the success of our listener proposition by building and mentoring multiple teams of engineers responsible for all customer facing Audacy Client applications and all stages of design, development and support. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
• Manage teams with sound decision-making, advocacy and capitalizing on growth and learning opportunities for individuals as they continue down their career path.
• Deliver results on complex projects involving multiple teams across the company
• Recruit, coach and mentor multiple teams with a hands-on leadership approach
• Provide technical guidance and domain expertise
• Support timely delivery of applications and features to address business needs
• Contribute to the development and execution of the company technology strategy and ensure its alignment with the business strategy
• Partner with other development teams, QA, and DevOps to deliver thought-out, quality solutions that are loved by Audacy users
• Participate as a member of the senior management team and work with stakeholders to develop a clear technology vision and road map for the company, as well as resource planning, tools selection and project scoping
• Build and maintain a positive and productive team culture
• Leverage excellent communication skills to build and solidify connections to other teams and stakeholders throughout project life cycles
• Deliver high-quality maintainable code
• Take ownership of various development programs including but not limited to iOS, Google, and Amazon
• Follow agile/continuous integration engineering best practices
• Maintains currency on new technologies and management practices and provides direction in collaboration with the Architecture team on what emerging applications and methodologies should be introduced

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• 8+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of team leadership experience
• Experience managing local, remote and near/offshore teams
• Experience designing and deploying complex streaming applications on mobile, web, smart TV devices, and voice-powered assistants
• Keen business acumen and proven executive management abilities
• Understanding of various App Store review processes and timelines
• Understanding of React Native, and Native client development.
• Ability to think and act strategically and proactively.
• Ability to lead teams in fast-paced environment and make sound decisions based on facts
• Experience using data driven analytics to design applications, understanding A/B testing
• Experience with streaming standards such as MPEG2, HLS, AAC, AC-3 is a plus
• Knowledge of GitLab or other VCS
• Knowledge of front end testing frameworks
• Understanding of RESTful API patterns
• Working Experience with Agile software development principles
• BA/BS in Computer Science preferred

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range for Denver, Philadelphia, New York and remote-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $190,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Salary Details
Salary: $190,000 Per Year ($ USD)
