Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

As a Regional Promotions Manager at Audacy Detroit, your primary responsibility will be to help execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns for our various radio stations. You will work closely with the rest of the promotions department, programming and sales teams to make sure we have strategic plans that align with our clients' goals, brand image, and target audience.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Execute on-site promotional events and coordinate/manage clients and listeners on-site.
• Coordinate and implements station appearances, sales promotions, events and contesting.
• Assist management with scheduling and training of the Street Team.
• Attends stations events and supervises event set-up and station visibility when needed
• Communicates weekly prize and contest information to station staff (sales & On-Air staff)
• Write and schedule copy for station events, contesting and any digital campaigns
• Work and asset to creates proposals for station promotions, prizes i.e. movie screenings, concerts and on-air and online prizing.
• Handles listener inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Works directly with each department to acquire all elements needed for station and sales promotions, i.e. copy, prizes, all complete event information, etc.
• Provides station event recaps.
• Work with sports teams to arrange staff, execute events, and fulfill any associated obligations
• Event Planning and Execution: Conceptualize, organize, and execute engaging promotional events, concerts, live broadcasts, and community initiatives.
• Collaborate with the promotions and programming teams to develop innovative, results-oriented promotional campaigns.
• Other marketing/promotional dept. duties as assigned by the Promotions Director.
• This position will also act as back up to the Cleveland, Buffalo and Rochester markets.

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in promotions or marketing, preferably in the radio or media industry.
• First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
• Experience working in fast paced environment able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
• Proven track record of successfully executing promotional events and campaigns.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Must have excellent writing skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend events as required.
• Experience using Google Workspaces (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc) is a plus.
• Experience using Canva, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign is a strong plus.
• Experience utilizing various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
