Overview

Audacy is seeking an organized, detail oriented and outgoing professional to support our Promotions + Experiences team in event management, promotions, and integrated marketing in the Midwest Region. Events include entertainment, music, sports, lifestyle and spoken word formats.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Lead and oversee all aspects of event curation, development and high-level execution of Audacy
• Midwest events and integrated marketing programs
• Define, forecast, manage, and reconcile event P&L for each Audacy Midwest event
• Support various programming, marketing and promotions initiatives by managing project timelines
• Develop and maintain relationships with promotional partners, venues, vendors, internal team andall departments
• Negotiate and execute contracts with promotional partners, venues, artists, vendors, and service providers
• Coordinate with internal departments and third-party partners on event and marketing details
• Work with internal teams on social media copy, graphic design (including, ADMATs) in conjunction with integrated marketing and event programs
• Follow all legal requirements and disclosures with support from legal
• Conduct appropriate market research, network, and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge base
• Collaborate with Sales Managers and Brand Managers on marketing and event ideation for client and brand initiatives
• Support Midwest Marketing team on promotions, contesting and brand initiatives as needed
• Other duties assigned by manager

Skills/Attributes
• First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
• Experience using Microsoft® Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience in managing a P&L in the event space
• Experience in Event Management in sports, entertainment, lifestyle or news formats
• Knowledge of promotion software, including but not limited to Vibes (mobile contesting), Second Street (web contesting and user-generated content engine) and PromoSuite (promotion management software)
• Occasional night or weekend work

Required:
• Five years' experience executing marketing/promotions campaigns, event management, and activation
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
