Overview
Audacy, Cleveland is looking for a fulltime sports talk show producer for WKRK 92.3 The Fan.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Manage daily expectations of on-air hosts and programming strategy
• Generate topics that drive conversations and listenership
• Cultivate relationships with local teams, PR staff and executives
• Help book big-name guests
• Help build the show's social brand
• Set an example for your peers
• Exceed traditional expectations
Qualifications
About You:
Required:
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
• At least 1 year of sports radio producing or sports media experience
• Archiving and organizing show material and topics so they can be easily referenced at a later date
• Answer phones and screen callers for both live and recorded segments
• Savvy in audio and website editing techniques
• Well organized and able to multitask
• Great attitude
• Ability to handle pressure situations in a mature manner
• Strong communication and management skills
Preferred:
• Deep understanding of the Cleveland area sports and sports radio landscape
• Passion and ability to book big-name guests
• Strong understanding of social media 'best practices'
• Adobe Audition / Vox Pro / Wide Orbit / Axia and other broadcast technology experience strongly preferred
• Ability to create and edit video content
