Audacy Denver is looking for full time on air talent to join The Slacker Show weekday afternoons on KALC-FM..

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:
• Collaborate in the prep, production, and performance of a 4 person afternoon show
• Engage daily with show's audience via phone and the station's accounts on social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Conduct On-Air interviews when appropriate
• Live remotes and personal appearances; some of which may be outside of ''normal'' business hours
• Assist in brainstorming and planning promotions and programming activities as related to the show and station
• Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; manage online personality presence
• Protect the station's FCC license
• Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
• Perform necessary production work
• Represent Show, Station, and Company in a positive and professional manner
• Collaborate on and actively participate in revenue generation through endorsements. events, & promotions etc
• Other duties as required by management

Required:
• Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills.
• A strong self awareness to understand your most authentic traits and personal flaws are important to connecting on a deeper level with the listening audience.
• The freedom and confidence to share stories about your life.
• A solid understanding of the art of storytelling in a conversational team setting, including strong listening skills to contribute and enhance a conversation.
• A strong work ethic and team player attitude
• The ability to join and adapt to an existing team and embrace role definition as it relates to the show.
• Solid production skills and a working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution.
• Socially informed and perceptive; up-to-date and in tuned with the local and national trends and/or specialized knowledge of topics/events related to on-air discussions
• Well-rounded communication for conducting interviews. Ability to make others feel comfortable and open up on air.
• Must have a valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires the use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.
• Satisfactory completion of a Background Check

Additional Information

Pay Transparency: The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado based individuals expressing interest in this position is $80,000 to $130,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
