Overview

The BetQL team at Audacy is looking for an experienced CRM Manager to oversee customer retention and marketing communications across its owned sports betting channels-- notably, email, push notifications, in-app and SMS. This person will be responsible for the strategic planning, audience segmentation and execution of the day-to-day marketing messages that go out to BetQL's 150,000+ users. The ideal candidate will have previous experience on a direct-to-consumer, mobile app, or subscription product, and be able to ideate and execute marketing campaigns to convert prospects to active users and drive ongoing engagement and loyalty.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Define user segmentation strategy focused on driving highest-value actions across the BetQL ecosystem
• Develop, execute and send targeted marketing strategies and communications based on customer lifecycle - prospects, new users, active users, lapsed user - and other key segments
• Orchestrate cross-channel drip campaigns for customer conversion, onboarding, re-engagement and winback
• Develop and manage the monthly email calendar, partnering with Sr. Manager, Growth on creative/campaign development, subscription promotions, and affiliate offer messaging
• Partner with editorial and content teams to identify and share most relevant and best performing sports betting content to users
• Write, design, build all elements of the email, push notification, SMS, or in-app message - from copywriting, to determining layouts and building the communication
• Regularly measure performance of all communications and provide recommendations on copy, frequency and messaging type
• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on database growth and campaign performance for distribution to key stakeholders

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:
• 3-6 years of B2C email marketing or customer retention experience for a mobile app, subscription, or direct-to-consumer
• Familiarity with ESPs like Sendinblue, Iterable, MailChimp or similar drag-and-drop email platforms
• Copywriting experience strongly preferred; Attention to detail and proper grammar essential
• Graphic design experience is a plus (Canva Pro or Photoshop) but not required
• Familiarity with Branch, AppsFlyer or similar MMPs a plus
• A passion and knowledge of sports and sports betting is preferred but not required
