Overview
Our Corporate Activation team is seeking an experienced professional to join a growing department. The Manager – Activation, Sports will play a leading role in bringing strategic marketing solutions to life across the Audacy sports platform. Our sports platform boasts some of the country's top sports-talk broadcast brands, premium digital and streaming audio, an ever-growing podcast network, and virtual/live events & experiences.

The anticipated starting salary range for New York City-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $65,000-70,000.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Act as a day-to-day Activation point-of-contact for specific high-profile Audacy clients – most notably our preferred sportsbook partners
• Own the entire post-sale execution process – beginning with bringing the idea(s) to life, to recapping final campaign performance and delivery
• Write and monitor the creation of client creative assets and deliverables to implement across Audacy's sports broadcast, digital, podcast, and experiential platforms – ensuring client quality assurance standards
• Work closely with multiple internal divisions including Sales, Programming, Content, Planning, Strategy, and Ad-Ops to deliver the highest level of work & client service
• Maintain operational subject matter expertise in Audacy's sports portfolio
• Brainstorm ways to optimize campaign performance to confirm client/partner KPIs are being met
• Meet with clients/partners and their agencies to discuss campaign performance
• Prepare and present campaign timelines, status reports, and performance recaps both internally and externally
• Create processes and provide insights to help successfully build a division
• Build and foster positive relationships with key team members from entry level to executive level internally and externally

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:
• BS/BA degree
• 5+ years previous project or account management experience in media, marketing, and/or sports fields a must
• A passion for sports with a strong understanding of the sports betting vernacular and the current sports betting landscape
• A well-rounded knowledge of strategic, multi-platform marketing execution
• Experience dealing with various levels of professionals in a corporate environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be highly proficient in presenting and building client-facing materials using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• A proven solutions-oriented self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Superb ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining diligent attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility to work weekends, as well as early and/or late hours as needed
