KEYN is a heritage set of call letters and has been the market leader in the classic hits format in Wichita for over 40 years. It is home to a monster 100,000-watt signal. The station is highly engaged in the community. It is a heritage brand with a loyal audience. The perfect candidate needs to have a high passion level for the Classic Hits format and a strong understanding of our listeners and the music. Morning show experience is required. A self-motivated individual who will go above and beyond to be successful and a sense of the Wichita community is essential.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Perform a daily morning show Monday through Friday
• Must be able to communicate and relate to the target audience.
• Complete production, commercial, and imaging duties as assigned.
• Make remote appearances on behalf of the station.
• Other responsibilities commonly associated with an on-air personality position.
• The ability to deliver a break with a real payoff to the listener
• Strong understanding of the format and target demo
• Great listening skills
• Execute social media marketing
• Proficient with Adobe Audition
• Proficient with Vox Pro
• Strong social and digital media engagement
• Coachable
• Ability to take direction
• Maintain quarterly issues report
• Interact with both internal and external customers

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
• Represent Company and radio stations in a highly respectable, professional manner.
• Must be extremely organized and highly motivated.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
