The Government Team is responsible for building a growing portfolio of government clients at the city, county, state and federal level in key regions across the country. Our work is centered on understanding government marketing and public education needs, serving our agency partners and leveraging the power of local media to move audiences toward action achieving public sector goals. Audacy's Government Division is seeking an experienced Government Partnerships Account Manager to join the fast growing Government team. The Account Manager will be the lead on all aspects of account management and client service in support of Government public education and marketing campaigns. The purpose of the role is to own all aspects of client service and campaign implementation ensuring accurate and effective campaign implementation while providing exceptional customer service for clients and partners.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do
• Actively contribute marketing expertise and strategy to support the development of public education media campaigns and solutions during the proposal response and pitch development phase
• Fully manage the implementation of government contracts upon award including:
• All client services including – relationship management, weekly project update calls, necessary reporting, fielding day-to-day campaign needs while continually anticipating challenges and calmly problem solving in real time
• Compiling client contract documents, budgets, deliverables, timelines etc.
• Organize internal & external team for project kick off and ongoing campaign implementation meetings; prepared to run the meetings, report on status, needs and action items
• Steward every aspect of campaign implementation across internal & external teams to ensure flawless implementation and achievement of client goals
• Constant and proactive communication within and across internal and external project teams
• Constant and proactive communication with Government Partnerships Manger, clients and partners to ensure all are continually aware of campaign status, deliverables, outcomes
• Ensure campaign goals are met, reporting and performance metrics are readily available throughout campaign and at completion
• Attend meetings, training sessions and client events as needed
• Work closely with Government Partnerships Manager & Specialist to successfully grow and manage portfolio of agency partners and government clients

Qualifications

More About You:
• Government marketing or agency account management experience required
• Knowledge of behavior change marketing techniques and media activation strategies strongly preferred
• Skilled in the art of managing client relationships while guiding internal teams to consistently create and deliver optimal results
• Strong communicator with the ability to actively listen, sharing information effectively and positively influence work deliverables through others
• Continual and natural problem solver, ability to learn quickly and proactively seek solutions and optimize process, systems, campaigns etc.
• High bar for quality work and attention to detail required to ensure accuracy and excellence in all aspects of client campaign management and reporting
• Positive energy, self-motivated and customer service oriented
• Operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Ability to foster a positive relationship with key team members at all levels, internal as well as external
• At times, flexibility to work hours early or late as required by deadlines may be necessary to provide best customer service
• Strong command of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel absolutely critical

Required:
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated Account Management / client services work experience, preferably with government clients.
• Working knowledge of how to read/build marketing strategy and media plans
• Experience in media coordination and placement of media campaigns
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred
• Valid driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
