Overview

Audacy, Inc. is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Financial Operations Team.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Manage and support the close of subledgers with Business Process Outsourcing partner and market business office
• Perform and review account reconciliations
• Perform and review journal entries
• Provide support in the development and streamlining of a standard close process
• Escalate issues with supporting explanations
• Identify process improvement opportunities and technology enablers
• Assess compliance with internal customer Service Level Agreements (e.g., timeliness, quality, productivity)

Software to be used:
• MS Office (especially Excel)
• Wide Orbit - Accounts Receivable
• Metaviewer - Accounts Payable
• Microsoft Dynamics SL - General Ledger
• Tagetik - Financial Reporting & Budgeting

Qualifications

About You:

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience interfacing with internal/external customers
• Experience in process improvement activities
• Experience in the financial reporting close process
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite applications, with high degree of proficiency in Excel
• Accuracy and Attention Detail
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills
